The short version
The app works entirely on your device. We don't collect, receive, store or sell any of your information. There are no accounts, ads, analytics or trackers.
What stays on your device
Everything you add to the app stays in the app's private storage on your phone or tablet. That includes your claim log, contract details, contract files and photos you upload, audio recordings and notes, and maintenance and repair records. It is not sent to Warranty Compliance Network or anyone else.
Contracts and photos are read on the device. The text recognition that reads scans and photos is built into the app and needs no internet connection.
Permissions
- Microphone: used only when you start "Record a call". Recordings are saved on your device.
- Camera: used only when you choose to photograph contract pages, receipts or records.
- Storage (Android 9 and older): used only to save files you choose to save to your Documents folder.
Sharing
Information leaves your device only when you choose to share it. For example, you might send your records package by email or save a file to cloud storage. You pick the app it goes to, and that app's privacy policy applies from then on.
Links
The app links to government agencies and other websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Deleting your information
You can delete entries, recordings and records inside the app. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage in Android Settings, removes everything it stored. Files you saved to your Documents folder stay until you delete them.
Children
The app is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll post the new version at this address with a new effective date.
